The City Bus Cafe Scrapbook 2005/06

Quartzsite 2005/2006

This last summer I had the priveledge to meet Tim & Carol.
I stayed on their ranch for approximately 4 months and got to know them-- and love them.
Tim died in a freak accident on 2/12/06.

If Tim was your friend, you had something of value in this world.
He was brutally honest, generous, and as good a man as I've ever known.
I'll miss him.

I would like to thank the management & vendors that I shared the lot with this season,
for their kindness and support that helped me in my venture-- the aggragate was greater
than its' individual parts-- I am indebted to them.

Also,

There's a new face in the cafe this year.
Met and fell for this girl-- let's call her Jean (because that's her name)--
on the central coast of California over the summer.

Jean resigned from Stanford University to come and travel with me in "our" buses--
What kind of fool would do that!

My kind.

In addition, the CBC welcomes Sammy (above) & Roxi (below) behind the counter.

When Melissa came in with that gumball machine earring, we just had to have her on our team.
The legacy continues with good friends, good times, and good music.
